New KCFC Under 8 Team
Dear Parents / Carers (P2)
You may be aware that Kilbirnie Community Football Club exists in the town. The clubs main aims are to:
- To increase access to sports/leisure opportunities for the inhabitants of Kilbirnie and surrounding areas.
- To develop a player pathway for local sport and thereby encourage a positive, healthy lifestyle.
- To provide social education and to assist in building a safe and strong community.
Very much related to all 3 aims of the club and key to the long term sustainability of the player pathway is the introduction of a new Under 8 team each year. The Under 8’s category for season 2008/09, which will commence in August 2008, is for children who are born in 2001.
To discuss the formation of the new U8 team, the club invites any interested parents who would like their child to be involved in the new team(s), to attend a meeting at Garnock Academy PE Department on Saturday 16th February at 11.15am.
